The weather is pretty but the sea is rough. Our rations are a little better and most of us are getting sea sick. I felt bad all day. We can see nothing but the sky and water and our sister steamers Zealandia (ours), the China in command of Gen. [Francis V.] Greene, the Colon and the Senator. This day we covered 230 miles. All is well outside the seak sickness.
