It has rained all night but the day is fine. We turned in all the Krag-Jørgensen rifles and ammunition and got back our old Springfields. The clerks are busy balancing their accounts. We have fourteen men on guard in Cavite and eleven on at Santa Rookin. In the evening we have more showers which continue all night. Fourteen men are on the sick list and four are still in the Hospital. In general, the health of the men is good.
