Passed all week in resting and reading and eating. On Sunday, I attended church at 12th Street and in camp we are busy packing our trunks and expect to be mustered out tomorrow. I have been selling pictures and handkerchiefs for a few days in camp for pasttime. All our boys are fairly well. I write my last letters home today, I also received one. Major Neff still insists on me going to the hospital for an operation on my testicles. They sure are bad and mighty painful. Each one weighs about one pound. In fact, he has already made arrangements for me but I am afraid that they may remove both of them so I will wait until I get home and see what Dr. Eastman says. I have more confidence in him. I am too anxious to get home and see the wife and baby. Aside from that I don't care. Well, there is too much excitement around here now and I will quit (writing). The boys are still teasing me about my "Bulls Nuts." Examinations are finished and we don't know what's next and I don't care so long as we get home.
