It has rained all night and day steadily and we are unable to keep dry in our miserable dog tents. But, most of us either have build bunks or bought one. All are about one to two feet above the ground but during the night my tent blew down several times. This day we had to go hungry. ALl day our rations are very short, only two hardtacks and coffee for dinner and rice without even sugar for dinner and again two hardtacks and coffee for supper. Thank God I am again once more like myself.
