Weather lovely we have all colors flying in honor of the day in the Morn Lt R. Woods threated us (Co C.) all to 3 Bottle of Ginger Ale and Cigar wich we all verry much apieceated in the afternoon the Band played for several Hours we had Oysters too for Supper and spent the Evening mostly with singing

The weather is lovely. We all have colors flying in honor of the day. In the morning, Lieutenant Robert Wood treated us (Company C) all to three bottles of ginger ale and cigars which we all very much appreciated. In the afternoon the band played for several hours. We had oysters too for supper and spent the evening mostly with singing.
