the Weather is as hot as ever we are doing regular routine of duty we have a "Grab vine" wich says that we are going home by the way of New York all Kinds of Rumor are afloat to day Christopher Hanan Baird Kennedy Miller Twist Hanan Daugherty and Cuite remain on the Sick List

 

The weather is as hot as ever. We are doing the regular routine of duty. We have a "grape vine" which says we are going home by way of New York. All kinds of rumors are afloat today. [Frank] Christopher, [Max] Hanan, [James] Baird, [William] Kennedy, [George] Miller, [David] Twist, [Homer] Daugherty and [Gilbert] Cuite are on the sick book.
