The weather is fine and a niece Breese is blowing the biggest part of the day we are pretty comfortable now we are making good use of our Cots wich we recieved on the 3 d it is reported that there are 15 cases of smal pox has being ravnig here all the time Christopher Hanan Baird Kennedy Miller Dougherty & Cuite sick

 

The weather is fine and a nice breeze is blowing. The biggest part of the day we are pretty comfortable. We are now making good use of our cots which we received on the third. It is reported that there are 15 cases of small pox. It has been raining here all the time. [Frank] Christopher, [Max] Hanan, [James] Baird, [William] Kennedy, [George] Miller, [Homer] Daugherty and [Gilbert] Cuite sick.
